There are SO many great restaurants in Grand Cayman, it’s hard for me to even think about narrowing down just three that I want to write about here, but I’m going to try!

Whether you’re looking for family-friendly fine dining or something more casual in Cayman, I’ve got you covered with the recommendations below. I’m also including why each of these restaurants is great for kids and why it’s great for parents too.

Our favorite family-friendly fine dining in Cayman: Luca

Luca is located right in the middle of Seven Mile Beach inside the Caribbean Club resort. I’d recommend either going for dinner (book a patio reservation at sunset time – it’s the perfect view!) or for their amazing Sunday brunch, which is a bit pricey but SO worth it. Even though this restaurant is more upscale, it is incredibly kid-friendly and the staff is so welcoming to families.

Parents will love: The menu which is all contemporary Italian fare, the extensive wine list and the picture-perfect Caribbean Sea view.

Little ones will love: The dedicated kid’s menu with both Italian favorites and more traditional kid-friendly options like chicken fingers or mac & cheese.

Our favorite family-friendly casual dining in Cayman: Peppers

Peppers is also located in the Seven Mile Beach area and is a great spot for lunch or dinner, especially if you’re looking for island jerk! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and check ahead of time to see if they have live music, which they often do.

Parents will love: The variety of menu items, ranging from jerk chicken to seafood, the live music and laid-back environment.

Little ones will love: The simple, casual menu items, outdoor seating and range of dessert options.

Our favorite family-friendly unexpected dining in Cayman: Casa 43

When you think about dining in Grand Cayman, Mexican might not be the first option that comes to mind, but you will be missing out by not visiting Casa 43. The dining room is small and fills up quickly, so I recommend going early. They have the most delicious fajitas and margaritas I think I’ve ever had! And they have plenty of kid-friendly menu items like quesadillas, tacos and even grilled mahi-mahi and shrimp in kid-sized portions.

Parents will love: The margaritas. Like literally, they’re the best. If you like spicy, make sure to get the El Jefe, which my husband swears by.

Little ones will love: The variety of menu items tailored to them, delicious chips and salsa (if they’re anything like my son who loves chips!) and a laid back atmosphere.
